CellPath UK’s Tissue Section Debris Brush is used to aid microtomy and ensure the clean working area of the microtome when sectioning.
Through keeping the cassette clamp and knife holder free from debris, section quality is optimised. The brush incorporates a magnet on the opposite end
to the bristle, which can be used as a way of removing the microtome blade from the knife holder.
This eliminates the need for workers to use their hands to change the microtome blade, and avoids potential injury within the laboratory.
